I was searching for a last minute wedding dress today, kind of on the down low. One of the associates asked me in a very kind way if I was going to a big event in the next week. She ended up trying to find me a dress and even hunt down their bridal associate. I didn’t end up finding anything today but I’ll be back soon to get a reception dress. I wish I remembered their names but literally 4 different associates kindly offered assistance to me in the hour or so I was in the store and not in the way that makes you feel like they have security watching you. Two of them had names similar to Chona (sorry ladies, I know that’s probably not even close). I hope your manager sees this! I only ended up leaving with some homeware but wow, they went above and beyond. I missed retail like this, I know how hard it can be working in retail and especially downtown, so that extra kindness was amazing. Thanks, Anthro Downtown!

I came to the Seattle store to try on wedding dresses and had an amazing time! It was by far the best wedding dress try-on experience, all thanks to my stylist Madellen! She was very knowledgeable, willing to go the extra mile to help my find my perfect dress, and so enthusiastic! Madellen also struck a good balance between being present to answer my questions, while giving me space to discuss options with my family. Highly recommend working with her to find a wedding dress, she's really good at her job!

Bought my wedding dress here, can’t tell you how much I love this place. I didn’t have an appointment and they made an exception for me and after I bought my DREAM DRESS they brought us all champagne and celebrated with us :) Love this place so much

Had the best time trying on outfits for my bridal shower. Sunday was incredibly helpful and turned me on to the comfiest tee ever to go under a jumpsuit I had picked out. Such an enjoyable experience thanks to her!

Extremely helpful staff! They didn't have much furniture on the floor to test out, but the staff answered all of my questions and gave me advice about how to find what I was looking for in their online shop. Beautiful home goods with a distinct aesthetic. Lots of beautiful personality.

While walking around downtown Seattle I passed the store and the window display and Christmas displays inside the store looked very inviting so I went in to have a look around. The store is very big (2 floors) and there’s a huge selection of different unique gift items; aside from that there’s a lot of home decor items, bedding etc and the rest just women’s clothes. There’s a really nice and huge classic staircase leading to the second floor. My favourite part about the store was the different plants in various decorative planters that were on display throughout.

I had one of the best shopping experiences ever this past weekend at anthropology. I was fortunate enough to meet Cheryl, who was stationed at the fitting rooms. She was spectacular – able to encourage a woman in her 50s to try new things. She was so positive, patient, kind and knew what flattered my figure. She made excellence suggestions- I purchased everything she picked out (all things i would not have picked for myself, but that I LOVE amd look great). Thank you, Cheryl! You made my shopping experience off the charts amazing.

I have a confession. Wherever I travel, I look for an Anthro because I always find at least one item I fall in love with to buy that I can't find at any other Anthro. This location in Seattle near The Public Market was huge. So many wonderful items, and the store was immaculate. But most importantly, the service was friendly, attentive and not in your face. And I received a high compliment from one of the retail specialists the minute I walked in: "You are so divinely Anthro! And I love that combination! What a surprise. I never would have thought to put those together." What a win!
